---Phyllis J. Weaver, 70, of Rittman, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Akron City Hospital.
---She was born March 6, 1941 in Wayne, WV to Russell and Martha Booth and lived most of her life in Rittman. Phyllis worked in the cafeteria for Rittman Schools for 35 years until retiring in 2008. She attended the Rittman Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking and shopping.
---Surviving are her husband, James; son, Tim Smith of Rittman; step-son, James (Chris) Weaver of Idaho; step-daughter, Denise (Ken) Sanders of Akron; step-grandchildren, David Weaver of Las Vegas, Tyler Weaver of Idaho and Josh and Julie Kane of Akron; brothers, Wally Booth of Wooster, Fred (Ginger) Booth of Wooster, Charles (Kay) Booth of Rittman, Larry (Dorothy) Booth of Wooster, Don (Vicki) Booth of Marysville, Lanny (Brenda) Booth of TN and Gary (Joyce) Booth of Wooster and many nieces and nephews.
---She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Glenn Smith.
---Services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Rev. John Wittmann officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
