AREA NATIVE F.H.BASTIAN DEAD AT 90
Fred H. Bastian, 90, formerly of Greenleaf, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Theodore Grahl, Route 1, Eden.

He was born July 30, 1880 at Brillion, a son of Frederick and Caroline Persohn Bastian. He married Bertha Tetzlaff on July 9, 1903 at Brillion.

Mr. Bastian farmed in the Greenleaf area all his life. He was a member of the Rural Methodist Church, Brillion.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Grahl of Route 1, Eden, and Mrs. Ronald Wink of Route 1, Brillion; a son, Milton of West De Pere; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Wiese of Appleton and Mrs. Ida Huebner of Route 1, Brillion; and a brother Phillip of Route 1, Brillion. He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 27, 1953, and also by three sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rural United Methodist Church, Brillion, with the Rev. Dr. W.H. Wiese officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, De Pere.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, and at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services.
