Died at her home in Dresden on Thursday evening, May 4th, of paralysis, Mrs. Mary Swarthout Baker, aged 75 years. Mrs. Baker was well known and a highly respected lady. She united with the Baptist church at Benton Center and retained her membership there till death took her to her reward. Her funeral was from her late residence on Sunday after noon, Rev. Delos Sprague, of Dundee, assisted by Rev. Josiah Still, officiating. The interment took place in Evergreen cemetery.
