Franklin Underwood
Franklin Underwood, the nine-year-old son of James Underwood, was instantly killed today by a bullet from a 22 rifle in the hands of his little sister, The gun was not thought to be loaded. The children, with a neighbor boy, were playing in the room where Mrs. Underwood was sewing. The baby got the gun and as one of the boys stepped on her hand she pulled the trigger. The bullet entered her brother's head and he fell dead in his mother's arms.
