On July 24, 1893 as Bladen Tasker Snyder, he married Charlotte Crocker West at Saint Martin In The Fields, Westminster, London, England. She was the daughter of Marcellus Monroe Crocker and the widow of Theodore Sterling West.

One son, Bladen, was an artist and he used to be a familiar sight with his camp-stool and easel on the streets, painting. Georgetown was not so arty in Bladen Snyder's day, unfortunately, so he was considered very odd.
