(Bob) Mann was an interesting man. An accomplished musician, he spent his working life doing odd jobs and making ends meet by being in the Army reserves. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in both the African and European theatres. He was the father of four children by two wives; both of whom he deserted. He was born in Nebraska but migrated to southern California as an adult with his parents in 1941. He was a son of Charles Gird Mann and Helen Grinstead Allen. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mitchell Mann and Lucinda Connor. His maternal grandparents were Thomas McClellan Allen and Lina Cora Grinstead. At this writing, 01 Sep 2010, he is the father of four children, greandfather of ten grandchildren, great grandfather of ten more and the great, great grandfather of one. Sadly, he's missed by none of them. Happy trails Bob.
