Jack Wade Poindexter, 55, of Tompkinsville, passed away Saturday, February 4th while in the company of family members at Monroe County Medical Center, Tompkinsville, KY.

Jack was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 24, 1957, a son of the late Alvene (Short) and Raymond Poindexter.

On August 26, 1979 he married Diane (Goad) Poindexter who survives him.

He was employed as a Water Treatment Operator at City of Tompkinsville and a member of Peters Creek Church of Christ.

Jack is also survived by one son, Eric Poindexter; one sister, Donna (Anthony) Daniel, one nephew Scott Daniel, all of Tompkinsville, KY.

Jack is also preceded in death by his parents Alvene (Short) And Raymond Poindexter.

Funeral Services at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7th, with Justin Monts and Bradley Shaw officiating.

Visitation, Monday 5-9 PM and Tuesday, 6 AM-1PM. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home.

Burial in the Skaggs Creek Cemetery, with donations to the Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
