Donald L. Brubaker, 66 of Lititz, PA, joyously met his Savior on February 3, 2012.

The son of the late Lester M. Brubaker and Verna G. Brubaker-Ginder, Don was born in East Rapho Township on April 19th, 1945. He was the loving husband of Lyndell L. (Landis) Brubaker. They celebrated 46 years of marriage on December 4th.

He graduated from Hempfield High School in 1963. Don served two years in 1-W service in Boston, MA from 1965-1967. He later graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with an associates degree in accounting.

He worked for 21 years for Victor F. Weaver Poultry, in New Holland, PA. Don recently retired after 18 years at Binkley and Hurst LP, in Rothsville, PA.

Don was an active member of Crossroads Community Fellowship (formally known as Hess Mennonite Church) serving throughout the years as a deacon, associate pastor, treasure, Sunday school teacher and youth group leader. He was also instrumental in the establishment of Sonshine Child Development Center, a ministry of CCF, serving as treasure and board member for over 20 years. Don also served as board member and treasure of Gateway Evangelistic Ministries and was currently serving as a board member for Woodcrest Retreat.

The ministry of Don's life was to love his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and serve others. Don's greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and collecting CASE toy tractors. Softball was a passion of Don's life as player, coach and past treasure of the Ephrata Church Softball League.

In addition to his wife and mother, Donald is survived by his five children, Darrell L. (Kimberly Bortz) Lititz, Doreen L. (George Taylor) East Fallowfield, Douglas L. (Jennifer Tomaszewski ), Denver, Dwight L. (Sara Steffy), Newmanstown, and Dustin L., Lititz; 12 grandchildren; his brothers, Gerald G. (Mary B.), York, Ray G. (Martha Jane), Ephrata; and a sister Phyllis A. Clugston (Kenneth), Manheim.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, at Crossroads Community Fellowship Church, 1060 East Newport Road, Lititz. An additional viewing will be held on Thursday, from 12 to 1 pm at the church, followed by his life celebration service held at 1 pm, with pastors Kyle Buckwalter, Nelson Martin and Glen Sell officiating. Interment will take place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.
