RUSHVILLE — Sherry Jarman, 71, a long time Rushville resident, passed away at 3:15 AM Sunday, February 5 in Rush Memorial Hospital. She was born September 30, 1940 in Pickerington, OH to the late Irvin & Doris (Wildermuth) Weaver. She had resided in Rushville since 1954. Sherry married Joseph D. Jarman on May 31, 1956 and he preceded her in death on February 13, 1988.
Sherry worked as kitchen manager for the Durbin Hotel, 1966-1981 and the Rushville Elk's Lodge, 1991-2001. She was a past member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a member of the BPOE #1307 and the Rushville American Legion Auxillary Post #150.
Sherry is survived by her sons, Jeffery D. & wife Martha, Gregory & wife Lea Ann and Ronald & wife Melanie all of Rushville, daughters, Michele & husband Rick Grizzell of Laurel and Julie & husband Bob Cramer of Rushville, grandchildren, Bobby, Joe & Ricky Grizzell, Ashlyn & husband Brady Wright, Krystin & husband Josh Sherman, Adam Jarman, Stephanie, Megan & Zackary Cramer, Lilly Cramer, Grace & Nick Jarman and 4 great grandchildren, Bryton Grizzell, Meliah Wright, Emily Grizzell & Conner Wright.
Services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, February 9 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Rev. Sam Davenport will preside and burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
