Funeral service for Esther Lee Wilson, 73, of Grand Saline, is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at New Beginning Baptist Church in Edgewood with Pastor Dan Tarno and Pastor Bryan Easley officiating.
Interment at Salem Cemetery in Alba under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 in a Terrell hospital.
She was born February 27, 1938 in Alba, Texas, the daughter of Roy James White and Jettie Cherry White.
She was raised in Edgewood and attended the Edgewood public schools. Esther later moved to Grand Saline, where she lived most of her life. She had been employed by Texas Instruments in Dallas, where she was an inspector. She enjoyed sewing and going to garage sales. Esther was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by her father, Roy White; son, Mark Webb; daughter, Sue Wheeler; two brothers, Ocie White and J.W. White and a granddaughter, Becky Webb.
Esther is survived by her mother, Jettie White, of Wills Point; three daughters, Ann Faro, of Canton, Darline Lacey & husband, Mark, of Houston and Tammy Sage, of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Fritz White & wife, Kitty, of Wills Point and Forrest White & wife, Wanda, of Wills Point; two sisters, Essie Green, of Balch Springs and Glenda Bunch, of Terrell; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a special friend, Clyde Coomer.
