Floyd D. Robinson
Floyd D. Robinson, 92, of Howard, died Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit. Born Feb. 27, 1913 in Mount Eagle, he was the son of the late J. Albert and Dortha Corter Robinson. He was married to Blanch E. Weaver on Feb. 22, 1936. She died June 23, 1992. He was employed for 41 years with the Warner Company of Bellefonte. He was a member of the Lick Run Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge 311, Howard, and he enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the Romola Bible Church in Howard. Surviving are a daughter, Gloria M. Kauffman of Runville; three sons, Floyd R. Robinson of Rote and Lynn A. and Donald L., both of Howard; a sister, Emma I. Swinehart of McElhattan; three brothers, Lyle R. of McElhattan, J. Albert of Mill Hall and Laird R. of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters; a grandson and two great-grandsons. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the W. Robert Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard. Pastor Bob Mauer will officiate. Burial will be in Romola Christian Cemetery, Curtin Township. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Romola Bible Church, 2280 Marsh Creek Road, Howard, Pa. 16841.
