Raymond Russell Irwin, 63, died at Central Wyoming Hospice Center in Casper. He was the son of William Russell and Willa (Kottraba) Irwin. He graduated from high school in Lodgegrass, Montana in 1963. Ray served in the Army from 1965-67 as a communication specialist. He married Christine Simons on March 10, 1973, in Casper and they had a daughter, Rhonda Rae. He worked in the oil field for 34 years as well as helping various ranchers. He is survived by his wife Christine of Douglas; daughter Rhonda Rae Covington and husband James of Douglas; sister Roberta Trenholm and husband Bob of Billings; brothers and their wives, Dean and Virginia Irwin of Cordes Junction, Ariz.; Jim and Barb Irwin of Ranchester; Charles and Mary Irwin of Billings; Duane and Bev Irwin of Fruita, Colo.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Willa Irwin and sisters Dorothy and Dianne Irwin.
