HERTFORD - Maggie Lamb Baccus, 103, formerly of Beech Springs Road, died Saturday evening, Sept. 13, 2003, in Chowan Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.
A lifelong resident of Perquimans County, she was the widow of Archie Winfred Baccus and the daughter of the late Willis Henry and Iva Nora Copeland Lamb. She was a member of Hunter's Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church where she taught Sunday School for 29 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Ethel B. Winslow and Thelma B. Rogerson, both of Hertford; four grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Willis Roy Baccus.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Swindell Funeral Home, Hertford. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Swindell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park, Elizabeth City.
