Flora I. Feran, 78, North 18th Avenue West, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995, in Lake Haven Manor. She was a lifelong Duluth resident. She graduated from Central High School. She was a baker for Neal Bort Pies and the Kitchi Gammi Club. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church-Fifth Street, its Rosary and Altar Society, Golden West Enders, American Legion Post 28, VFW Post 137 Women's Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1163 and a former member of St. Clement's Catholic Church.
Her parents were Roy and Gladys Hurd. Her husband, John, died in August 1994.
She is survived by a son, Joseph of Duluth; a daughter, Karleen Crossmon of Britt; a brother, Alton Hurd of Duluth; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery in Duluth.
