Charles A. Wise, 83, of Delphi,
died at 3:05 p;m. last Wednesday
at St. Elizabeth Hospital in
Lafayette, following an extended
illness.
Born in Carroll County, Feb.
20,1891, he was the son of John D.
and Alice Sellers Wise. He was
married to Laura Goslee.
A lifetime resident of the area,
he retired from farming 18 years
ago. He was a 50-year member of
the Hickory Grove United Church
of Christ.
Surviving with his wife are one
son, Robert, Rt. 1, Delphi; six
grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
Services were Saturday ai the
Hickory Grove United Church of
Christ, with the Rev. John
Fleming officiating. Burial was
at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
