WHEELER, PATSY LEE - age 76 of Knoxville, passed from this world into the waiting arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 2, 2012. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Pat was also an avid fan of the Lady Vols. Preceded in death by: husband, David P. Wheeler; parents, Glenn and Jeanette Gamble; brother, G.W. Gamble; sister, Dorcas. Survived by children, daughter Betsy Gibson and husband Terry; son David and wife Joan; son Tim and wife Kim; and daughter Debby Long and husband Mike. Proud and loving grandmother to grandchildren: Jennifer, Amber, Meghan, Jessica, LeAnne, Caleb, Taylor, Alex, Erin, Kennedy, Emmerie, Joseph, Isaiah, Delaney, Drew and Alex; great grandmother to Ryley, Emma, Ethan, Kaleb and Olivia. Brothers, Bob and George Gamble. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11th at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, 6200 Kingston Pike at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life led by Rev. Don Thomas at 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, on Lyons View Pike, Friday, February 10th at 1:30 p.m. with services led by Rev. Don Thomas and Rev. Kevin Ruiz.
