Hank, 87, passed away at 4:00 a.m., at his home.
He was a son to John and Rosa (Fox) Nerderman. On May 23, 1942, he married Marcella Jean Gass, who survives in Lima.
Surviving were three daughters, Sandra (Charles) Bowen, Sharon Smith and Carol Zapp, all Lima; eight grandchildren, Lori Neff, April McCarthy, James Mason, Kelly Good, Kevin Smith, Sherry Yant, William Smith and Andrew Szosz; and thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons-in-law, Gary Smith and James Mason; two grandchildren, John Smith and Debra Mason; and three brothers, Joseph, Leo and William.
He worked at Davis Enamel for 18 years, then retired from Teledyne after 15 years. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, Lima, and American Legion Post 191, Spencerville. He was in the Hall of Fame at St. Gerard.
