The youngest child of Cecil and Anna (Bakken) Anderson, Albert was raised in Swanburg, Minnesota with his brother, Bob, and two sisters.
After moving to Montana, he came back to Minnesota for visits with family, and made sure to tell everyone, "I'm glad you got to see me."

Albert was survived by his wife and children in Montana, his sisters, and his parents (who have since passed away) in Minnesota. His brother, Robert Joel Anderson, preceded him in death.
