Mrs Neil Chance
Mrs Lillian L Cobb Chance, aged 83, of 1605 West Twenty-sixth Street, Pine Bluff, formerly of Little Rock, widow of Neil Chance, died Sunday. She was a retired employe of the bookbinder department at Democrat Printing and Lithographing Company. Survivors are two stepsons, Neil Henry Chance of Los Angeles and Joe Robert Chance of Australia; a sister, Mrs Ellis Leslie of Pine Bluff, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Graveside service will be at 9:30 am Wednesday at National Cemetery by Rev Larry Maddox. Burial will be by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth
Grandma Chance raised my dad and Uncle Neil from her marriage in 1930 when the boys were still little. I will never forget our visit to her about 1969. She wore a bun in her hair and one night she let down her hair and I was amazed at how long it was. As a Grandmother now, I wear my hair long and done up in a bun just like her. Thank you, Grandma for taking on the task and raising two fine men. Love, Patty
