Cynthia ''Cindy'' Ann Thompson, 51, died at her home in Nicholasville, KY of pancreatic cancer. Cindy was retired from GTE Telephone Company where she was employed for 27 years. She was presently self-employed as an Interior Designer. Cindy was born December 10, 1956 to J. B. ''Hank'' Thompson and Mary Imogene Thompson of Sorgho. She is survived by her parents; one brother, Glenn Edward Thompson of Owensboro; three sisters: Yvonne Marie Thompson of Lexington, Maureen Ann (Bill) Walczak of Union, Ky., and Carla Louise (Corey) Garyotis of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by one special niece, Amanda Leigh Thompson of Denton, Texas and two nephews, Kurt Andrew Thompson of Plano, Texas and Connor Joseph Garyotis of Richmond, Virginia. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sorgho with Reverend Patrick Bittel officiating. Burial will be in St. Raphael Cemetery in Daviess County. Visiting hours at Glenn Funeral Home are 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday and 8:30 to 10:00 AM on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, we ask that Masses be offered.
