On May 7, 1924, she married Gustav Adolph Gorsegner and moved to his farm in the Town of Reseburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974; her parents; three brothers, George, Jr., Alfred and Harold Hansen; one sister, Regina (Hansen) Kummer; sons-in-law, Tom Davis and Carl Broeking; and daughter-in-law, Marcia Gorsegner.
Funeral services were held on May 28, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Welch officiating. Burial was at Sylvan Cemetery in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp.
