Funeral services for Mrs Martha Jane Hale Welch, widow of Henry M Welch, were at the First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5.
Martha Jane Welch was born May 3, 1860 at Vandever, Cumberland county, Tennessee. She lived most of her life in this county; she was a member of the Methodist church. She died March 3 at the age of 83, having been confined to her bed for nearly 5 years.
She married Martin Welch, who died in 1937.
Surviving are 7 children: Miles and Mrs Addie Wright, Buhl, Id; Robert, Twin Falls, Id; Lafayette, Portland, Or; Jim, Albert and Ralph, Crossville.
