SALUDA - Antone Costa "Tony" Rita, 47, of 465 Hwy. 702, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Hospice House of HospiceCare of the Piedmont in Greenwood.
A native of Saluda, he was the son of John Costa Rita, Jr. and Lula Mae Chaney Rita. Tony was employed with Eaton Electrical in Greenwood and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Big Red Hunt Club.
Surviving are a son, Colbey Rita of Saluda, two daughters, Ashley Rita and Lakin Rita, both of the home; his parents, John Costa Rita, Jr. and Lula Mae Chaney Rita of Saluda; his fiancee, Judy Parks of Saluda; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Angie Rita of Saluda; a sister, Cyndi Rita of Chappells; and a nephew, Zac Rita of Saluda.
