Samuel Amos Zimmerman, seventy-eight, formerly of Blue Ball, died at this home of his son, Roy William Zimmerman, Ephrata, R3, at 7:15 p.m. today after a lingering illness. He was born in Farmersville, a son of the late Henry and Charlotte Hufford Zimmerman. He was a member of Metzlers Mennonite Church. Surviving are these children: Harry, Manheim; Lottie, wife of Harry Weaver, Blue Ball; Roy W., Ephrata R3; Elva, wife of Lester M. Weaver, New Holland; and Laymon, Ephrata R2; and a brother, Grable Zimmerman, Lititz R3. (Lancaster New Era - Oct 19, 1954)
