Prescott, Ark., January 12.—Miss Corrie McRae, daughter of Congressman Thomas C. McRae of Arkansas, died this morning at half-past 8 o’clock.
The news of the death of Miss Corrie McRae, daughter of Representative McRae of Arkansas, was received with sincere regret by the Arkansas delegation in the House, although it was not entirely unexpected. Mr. McRae’s daughter had been ill for some time, and when he went home during the holidays he was detained by the serious turn which her illness had taken. He did not return to Washington and has remained at her bedside constantly. No details of the death of Miss McRae have been received by the delegation in addition to the news carried in the dispatch.
