Thomas Alford (84427679)

Suggested edit: His gravestone is engraved with the wrong year. His death certificate was signed by the doctor in June 1923 and filed 28 Dec 1923, accounting for the confusion. The death date is clearly 1922. His obituary was published in The Graphic (Nashville, NC) on Thursday, 7 Dec 1922. It says he died "at noon today (Friday)"--apparently the paper received the news before it was printed and distributed! Then, on Thursday, 14 Dec 1922, an article about his funeral, which took place on Saturday, was published.
