Myles G. Reilly, 76, of Flat Rock, formerly of New Canaan, Conn., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at the Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House.
He was born in Rye, N.Y. He raised his family in New Canaan, Conn., and retired to Flat Rock in 1995. He was active in the village of Flat Rock as well as volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross, Bounty of Bethlehem and Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his wife Helen Cooley Reilly, whom he married in 1954; five children, Katherine Reilly Floyd, John Reilly, Matthew Reilly, Megan Reilly Buser and Sheila Reilly; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 2395, Hendersonville, N.C. 28793.
