Apparently this Alexander had several wives. At age 62, he married (last), March 6th, 1791 in Boston to Mrs. Mary Revere Rose (age 48), sister of Paul Revere and daughter of Apollos Rivorie and Deborah Hitchbourn.
Mary married first Mr. Edmund Rose, and had three children: Mary, Sarah and Phillip. The latter died at sea.
Mary Revere was baptized 10 July 1743 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Her tombstone states:
"In Memory of MRS. MARY BAKER who dyed Dec'r 27th 1801, aged 59 years"

Alexander Baker was son of Huckstable / Huxtable Baker and his first wife, Susannah Merrit. Huckstable was baptized July 30th 1704 at First Congregational Church, Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts and died there after 1744.
He was given his mother's name.

The name Marblehead is first mentioned in the Colonial records, July 2, 1633, and is thought to have been suggested by the variegated porphyry - colored stones found there and called "marble stones" by Higginson in 1629. Wood and Josselyn also mention the locality as "Marvil Head."

On May 6, 1635, the Court ordered: "That there shal be a plantacion at Marble Head, & that the inhabitants now there shall have liberty to plant and imp've [improve] such ground as they stand in neede of." Marblehead was established as a town May 2, 1649.

Huxtable and Susannah Merrit were married on October 7, 1725 by Mr. John Webb. They had two Children:
a) Susanna Baker, born 7 May 1727 Boston, Suffolk Co, MA
b) Alexander Baker (1729-1801).

Hucktable Baker, a Wainwright [a wagon maker], age 37, married his second wife, HANNAH SQUIRE on September 11, 1741 at St. Michael's (Episcopal) Church in township of Marblehead, Essex County, Massachusetts and had children: [Note: the first two children (twins?) were baptized together]
1) William Baker, son of Huxtable and Hannah, baptized 24 Oct 1742 at First Congregational Church, Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts.

2) Hannah Baker, daughter of Huxtable and Hannah, baptized 24 Oct 1742 at First Congregational Church, Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts.

*3) SQUIRE BAKER, baptized 10 July 1743 at First Congregational Church, Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts and died 4th of March 1820 near the town of Dover in Stewart County, Tennessee, age 76 years, 7 months and 23 days old. (Revolutionary War Pension was dropped 1st May 1820).

4) Sarah Baker, daughter of Huxtable and Hannah, baptized 22 Sep 1744 at First Congregational Church, Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts.
