Wilda Birdell Avers was born Sept. 23, 1925, at the home of her parents in Nuckolls County, Nebraska, a daughter of Seaford and Ada Jennings Avers. She married Carlyle Rayburn July 10, 1947, in Philo, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband (January 1967); a sister: Aileen Fletcher; brother: Glen Avers; grandson: Brian Rayburn; borther-in-law: Wendell Fletcher; and son-in-law: Coy Giles. She was the last of her immediate family.
Wilda retired from the Illinois Department of Public Aid. She was a member of Foundation Ministries in Armington, Illinois.
