REVEREND ALEXANDER B. CUMMINGS, SR., 80, born January 20, 1922 in Harper City Cape Palmas, Liberia, passed away quietly and peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2002 in Katy, Texas. He is survived by his wife Ayo B. Cummings and four children, Chaneta V. Lewis, Julia Weeks and Husband, Aurelius, Alex Cummings and wife Teresa, Patricia Cummings; Four grandchildren, Ayo O. Cummings, Cecil B. Weeks, Boikai A. Cummings and Tehanna F. Weeks, and a host of other relatives. Visitation will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Katy, Texas on Friday, August 2 from 6-9:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Alexander Cummings Memorial Fund at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1936 Drexel Drive, Katy, Texas, 77493.
