Born in Lake City, Mr. Humphries was a son of William Zibeon Humphries and the late Lucille Maude Baxley Humphries. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Prospect Independent Methodist Church and was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. He was a loving father and a friend to all.
Mr. Humphries was predeceased by a son, Paul Zibeon Humphries.
