SCOTTSVILLE — Sibyl Calvert Williams, 85, of Scottsville died at 7:40 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at a Scottsville nursing home. The Allen County native was a retired employee of Mallory's and a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Bluford Calvert and Nellie Grant Mayhew Calvert and the wife of the late Russ Williams. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Aaron and Eugene Calvert; and two sisters, Maurverene Matthews and Euleta Cline. Graveside service was today at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Goad Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a sister, Mary Nell Stinson and her husband, Bill, of Scottsville; a niece, Janet Cooke and her husband, Jeff, of Scottsville; and two great-nephews, Zach and Austin Cooke, both of Scottsville.
