Martha M. Buesing was born in Germany and came to Walcott, at the age of 18. She married Thomas Paper in 1903 in Davenport. the couple farmed near Stockton, Iowa until moving to Davenport in 1919. Mr. Paper died in 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Emil (Hilda) Arp, Davenport; a son, Harvey, R. R. No. 1, Davenport; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Runge Chapel. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery.
