OAK GROVE -- Services for T.W. Auger Jr., 42, will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Frank Shields and David Woodard officiating.
Arrangements are under direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
Mr. Auger died Wednesday in an airplane accident south of Goodwill.
A native of West Carroll Parish, Mr. Auger was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University and served with the Monroe Police Department and with the Town of Oak Grove as chief of police. He was sheriff of West Carroll Parish since 1976.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maxine Auger of Oak Grove; a son, Dion Auger of Oak Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Gay Putman of Farrington, N.M., and Robin Auger of Oak Grove; parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Auger Sr. of Oak Grove; two brothers, Larry Auger of Monroe and David Auger of Oak Grove; and a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Wise of Lake Providence.
Pallbearers will be Walter Rachelson, Bill Helmer, Von Carroll, Wayne Holley, John Mercer and Butch Philley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deputies of West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Department and the auxiliary police department.
