Glenn worked for Griffin Grocery and then the City of Muskogee Street Department before he became disabled. Second only to his love for his wife, Margaret, was fishing and trotlining at Spaniard Creek. He could always make you laugh, especially his grandkids. He never knew a stranger. Even in these last days when daily tasks were unbearable, he made you think of you and yours, not him. From all of us to...my husband, my dad, my grandpa...We love you!
Glenn was preceded in death by his dad, Elgie Eugene Yarbrough.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of the home; his mother, Opal Yarbrough, of Muskogee; three children, Ginny Bemo and her husband David, of Fort Gibson; David Yarbrough and his wife, Gayle, of Muskogee; and Soozie Standridge and her husband John, of Oktaha. Just as precious are his eight grandchildren; Clint Bryant; Lacy and Alisha Bemo; Nathan and Blake Yarbrough; Joshua, Cheyenne, and Lucas Standridge; two brothers, Gene Yarbrough; of Muskogee and Jerry Yarbrough of Wagoner; many nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Funeral services for Mr. Yarbrough will be held Wednesday November 27, 2002 at 10:00a.m. at the Bradley Belltower Chapel with Pastor Mark Hester officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery with Larry Yarbrough, Lanny Yarbrough, Gary Yarbrough, Jeff Yarbrough, Sonny Brewer, and Shannon Brewer serving as pallbearers.
The family has entrusted the Bradley Family Funeral Service with the arrangements.
