NB: The caretaker at Germonds Cemetery can find no record of Leon de Montreville's burial there, although his biography at the Society for American Baseball Research says he was. Newspaper articles about his death note that his funeral was held in Nanuet, officiated by Rev. Jesse M. Corum of Germonds Presbyterian Church, but there is no mention of his burial place, other than "Interment will be at the convenience of the family."
