NAMPA — Ralph L. Hobza, 72, of 915 Sixteenth Avenue South, died in a Nampa hospital Wednesday.
Born Dec. 14, 1889 at Lidgerwood, N.D., he married Elmira Murray there Nov. 24, 1910. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1960.
Hobza served as a pastor of the Church of the Nazarene for many years in North Dakota and Minnesota prior to coming here in 1938. He served local pastorates in the Boise Valley until his retirement.
Survivors include his one son, Delwin W. Hobza of Nampa; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Charlson of Boise, Mrs. Naomi Wright of Schenectady, N.Y., and Mrs. Marlys Kirk of Nampa; eight grandchildren.
