in Maydock , Ont., in -1869,. Four
years later her parents settled in
Sheridan township, Clare Co. Io 1881 she was united in marriage to Joshua
Wilson and to this union were born
six children, Marvin R. of Clare, Mrs.
E. F. Ristine. of Rochester, Minn.,
Albert D of Detroit, Norman J. of
Saginaw, Allen G. and Royal H. at
home.
In 1907 she was married to Thos.
B. Abbott, residing in Clare until her
death. She was a member of the
Episcopal church, also of the Rebecca
Macoabee, Eastern Star and Pythian
Sister lodges.
The funeral in charge of Rev. Badgley was held at the Congregational
church Saturday Nov. 13, witb burial
in Cherry Grove, the : Rebeccas having charge of the services at the
grave.
Mrs. Abbott had three brothers,
Allen and S. W. of Clare and ' Martin
of Reese, La., also one sister, Mrs.
Adam Cooney of Sterling, Ont.
