She was born September 22, 1904, at Tillar, a daughter of the late Freeland
Theodore Grisham and Newton Lafayette Jones Grisham.
She was a graduate of Galloway College. She was a member, choir director
and Sunday school teacher at First Presbyterian Church. She taught in the
Warren Pulblic Schools prior to marrying James Edward Hurley Sr.
Her husband and a son, James Edward Hurley Jr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Ted Hurley of Warren; a daughter, Jane Cashion
of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday in Oakland
Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First
Presbyterian Church. Visitation will follow in the church parlor.
