Daniel is a son of William Robert Holeman(1792-1850) and Mary Elizabeth (1808-18??) Holeman. Researchers believe they were cousins.

The 1850 District 4, Overton County, Tennessee Census lists "Wm R Hollman," a widower, and also lists Daniel. This information came from contributor Dawn Stevenson.

Daniel, a widower, died of Pneumonia at age 81. NE Holman was the informant on his death certificate. It states he was born in 1830.

In the 1870 Morgan Township, Dade County, Missouri Census Daniel, age 39, and his wife Delilah (should be Dulina), age 31, have the following children: Andrew age 13, Mary J age 8, Louisa age 6, Florence age 4, Hannah P age 2. All children were born in Missouri.

The 1900 Polk County, Missouri Census shows Daniel born July, 1829, Wife Dulina born April, 1840 and married 41 years. Daughters Louisa born March, 1877, and Elzada born November, 1880 are living at home. Granddaughter Eliza Penney (maybe Burney?) born December,1880 is also listed.
