Charles Adamson, a well known and highly-respected, died at his home in Rogersville, Tuesday morning, March 9, aged 75 years, after a few days' illness of pneumonia. He had been in failing health for two years as a result of an attack of grippe. Mr. Adamson was a son of Stephen and Lucy Knight Adamson, deceased, and was born in Center township, where he was engaged in farming and stock raising for many years. Beside his wife, Mrs. Grace Adamson, he leaves seven children, Dr. H. R. Adamson, Mrs. T. N. Grove, Mrs. John Grove, Fred, Charles, Jr., James and Miss Ruth Adamson, all of Rogersville. The funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. O. E. Bennett, of Rogersville, interment in Rosemont cemetery.
