According to Christopher Beard, Nan was originally buried in the Joe Ben Crawford Cemetery, but her body and marker were moved to the Tylertown Cemetery.

Daughter of Calvin Simmons and his first wife, Mary "Jane" Stalling,(25 Oct 1835-15 Feb 1859), the daughter of James Stallings and Sarah Pearson.
