A native of Steelville, Missouri, Mrs. Kelley came to Oklahoma in 1906 from Texas, settling near Wellston and Carney. She later lived in Oklahoma City, moving to Stillwater in 1954. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors include a son, Virgil of Lamar, Colorado; three daughters, Mrs. D. V. Wiley of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Burl Baber of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Bethel Hagar of Stillwater; a brother, Tom Dodd of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Owen of Floydada, Texas and Mrs. Rebekah Miller of Madera, California; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
