Willard L. Husted, age 96, passed away December 30. 2011, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on April 15, 1915, in Marshall, Oklahoma, to Don C. and Therisa (Tester) Husted.

Willard married Margaret Tarkington on April 21, 1949. She preceded him in death in 1999. He later married Jewell Lepley on May 22, 2000. She also preceded him in death in 2008.

Willard lived in Guthrie most of his life, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, had worked as a mechanic for Scrutchfield Motors, co-owner Margaret's Dress Shop, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a Mason for 50 years.

He is survived by his daughter Mickey Jean Taylor and husband Ron of Edmond, OK and son Richard Dishman of Addison, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Willard was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, six brothers, Tony, John, Ed, Jack, Joe and Bobby and four sisters, Madonna, Rachel, Gloria and an infant baby girl.
