Mrs. Mattie Moore.
Mrs. Mattie Moore, 84 years old, died here Monday, as the result of a fall ten days ago. her hip was broken in the fall. This together with the infirmities of old age, caused her death.
Mrs. Moore's funeral was conducted at the Paris Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Newton. Burial was in the Salem cemetery north of Paris.
Mrs. Moore was born in Shelby County, Kentucky, and was brought to this section when only three years old. She had lived here and north of Paris on a farm for over 75 years.
She is survived by two children, Mrs. Walter Jackson and W. S. Moore, both of Paris, and by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Sam McKinney, LaGrange, Mo; Elisha and W. H. Hedden of Monroe County; Jim and Lee Hedden of Pasadena, California.
