Catherine H. Arend
Mrs. Catherine H. Arend, 73, of Fort Wayne, mother of Mrs. Betty Miller of Decatur, died at 9 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s hospital.
Mrs. Arend was a native of Monroeville and had resided in Fort Wayne most of her life.
Surviving are her husband Lee, three sons, Basil, Richard and Kenneth, all of Fort Wayne; six daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Hensler and Mrs. Rosemary Thompson, both of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Betty Miller, of Decatur; Mrs. Dorothy Arnold and Mrs. Joan Brown, both of New Haven, and Mrs. Virginia Kroemer of Coldwater, Mich.; one brother, Paul Martin of Monroeville, and two sisters, Mrs. Lila Dawson of Monroeville, and Louise Arend, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Tom Mongovan funeral home, Fort Wayne, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery
