But I haven't been able to find where he went next. Henrietta and Christopher must have gone straight to Malvern, Mills, Iowa, because their next tow daughters were born there. I haven't found their actual birth records, and I can't find them on the 1870 census. I believe that Nellie and Mary's birth dates are off--Henrietta's obituary says they came to America in 1868, but the passenger list says 1869. But Nellie was born in Iowa, so I bet she was actually born in 1870.
