Funeral services for Jack L. Austin, 53, Warsaw, were held Sunday afternoon in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Rev. K. Olubowicz and the Rev. Frederick Figge officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. A memorial has been established. Mr. Austin died Friday morning, Sept. 1, 1978, in Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, IA. He was born July 6, 1925, in Denver, a son of Merlin and Wilma Barnard Austin. He married Esta M. Foley Sept. 14, 1967, in Warsaw. He was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Warsaw, the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Post, was a veteran of World War II and was employed in the quality control department of ESB Inc., in Warsaw. Surviving with his wife are three sons, Stephen, Michael and Jeffrey all of Warsaw; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
