Mrs. Rebecca Weaver, wife of A. D. Weaver, a well known farmer of West Rockingham, died yesterday afternoon at her home near Dale Enterprise. She was ill less than a week, pneumonia having developed last Sunday. For the last few days her condition had been critical.

Mrs. Weaver was sixty-one years old, having been born near Edom, January 3, 1853. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shank both of whom have been dead many years. Her entire life was spent in Rockingham County.

Forty-one years ago she joined the Mennonite Church. She was a woman of Christian character and was held in high esteem.

Surviving Mrs. Weaver are her husband, five sons, Walter S. Weaver, of Lynchburg; Otho B. Weaver, of Mount Clinton; Raleigh J. Weaver, of near Dayton; John W. Weaver, of Hudson, Indiana, and Ward D. Weaver, of Winston-Salem, N. C., and two daughters, Mrs. Lena V. Jones and Miss Annie M. Weaver at home. She also leaves three brothers, Rev. K. C. Shank of Waynesboro; A. H. Shank of Hinton; Jacob B. Shank of Nordorne, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. R. J. Mason of Bridgewater.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at Weaver's Mennonite church. The funeral party will leave the house at 10:30 o'clock. Services at the Church will be conducted by Bishop Louis Shank, of Broadway, assisted by Rev. J. Sniveley Martin.

Interment will be in the cemetery nearby.

The pallbearers will be Noah Blosser, E. J. Suter, Henry B. Keener, C. F. Showalter, Elias Brunk and J. F. Sharpes.
