Jared Benjamin Boyd, born on December 23, 1984, passed into God's forever forgiving and loving arms on January 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ben Boyd and Doris Ball and cousin Kayla Boyd. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Rena Boyd; 3 brothers, Joey (Chassidy) Boyd, Joshua Boyd and Jacob Boyd; maternal grandparents, T.J. and Etta Johnson; 2 nieces, Rylie and Kenslie Boyd; aunts & uncles, Frank Boyd, James Boyd, Karen Pierce, Vivian (Steve) Barefield, Ray (Donna) Johnson, Rory (Debra) Johnson and many cousins and other relatives. Pallbearers will be his brothers, Joey Boyd, Joshua Boyd and Jacob Boyd. His cousins, Daryl Ray Johnson, Bryan Johnson, and Chase Johnson. His uncles, Ray Johnson and Rory Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 2 pm from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Gene Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 12pm until service time.
